Isuzu NRR EV: AHEAD OF THE CURVE, BEHIND THE WHEEL

If greater driver comfort equals improved driver productivity, and improved productivity equals higher profits, then the 2025 NRR EV can bring your business to new levels of success. Here are just a few of the ways the interior of the cab has been thoughtfully redesigned with driver comfort, convenience and safety in mind.

Start with the steering wheel. The steering wheel’s position and angle have been changed from prior Isuzu cabs to provide a better fit for a wider variety of drivers. Its smaller diameter means easier handling. And the steering wheel hub is home to switches that operate the Multi-Information Display, audio system, cruise control, hands-free phone calling and more.

Big-league safety. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, between 1987 and 2017 frontal airbags saved over 50,000 lives—enough to fill a baseball stadium. Now, driver and outboard passenger airbags are standard on every Isuzu NRR EV. Remember, airbags are supplemental protection and are designed to work in combination with seatbelts.

Putting the “multi” in Multi-Information Display. A new seven-inch color MID is standard equipment on every NRR EV, and it houses a remarkable assortment of gauges and functions, including warning lights; status of driver-assistance features; time and temperature; odometer; fuel level; shift position and so much more. And it’s not just multi-information—it’s multi-lingual, fluent in English, French and Spanish.

New Auto Light sensor. An illuminance sensor mounted on the left front of the cabin detects the level of brightness outside the truck. When the sensor detects a light level lower than its threshold, the headlamps will automatically illuminate—along with the clearance, license plate, marker, daytime running and taillights. With the light control switch in the “Auto” position, you won’t have to worry about a driver forgetting to turn the lamps on again.
